This is the second book in the Next Generation MC series. I love both the Jokers Wrath and Hell's Knights, so reading about their kids all grown up, is awesome. Now, this isn't a book about the MC, but the MCs are involved.
Mercedes is a Hell's Knights kid. She's off to college now. She's been sheltered for her entire life because of the life her father lives. Now she's not so sheltered. I love her. She's funny and she doesn't give up, or back down. She does get bullied in this book. I do wish we would have seen how all that was resolved. But I still love this book.
Diesel is the lead singer of Wrath, Mercedes meets him before she goes to college. She stands up to him and puts him in his place. He needs this a lot. I honestly thought he was a jerk at first. But she saw through all of that.
But, he's in line to take over the Jokers.
They come from two different clubs. What will happen when Diesel finds out and their parents find out?
I got this book last night, and started it while I was laying in bed. I only put it down to sleep and had it finished first thing this morning. I love it!
