This is another great standalone from RC Boldt. If you’ve read her other books, you will
visit with some old friends also.
This book had me wondering what exactly caused Emma Jane to
leave Knox at the alter and her to pull a runaway bride act.
Some good did come out of the run though. She met her best friend, Becket, who is an
NFL quarterback. And I really can’t wait
to get my hands on his story.
Emma Jane learns that the past will always catch up to you.
These two still love each other so much. I wish it hadn’t taken as long as it did for
them to actually talk and fix things.
Both had their hearts broken by the other and Knox had no clue why she
left him.
This is a great second chance read.
I loved both characters.
I do wish we would have gotten the conversation between Emma Jane and
her dad, instead of just being told it happened. That was a turning point.
I also wish we would have seen Knox handling the liar!
